Who am I? If you haven’t guessed already, my name is Jen. I was born and raised in Rhode Island, and still live here. In 2009 I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Churg Strauss Syndrome. I currently spend my days with Thommy (the love of my life), and our 3 cat children (Misty, Cutiepie, and Luna.)
What do I do with my time? My interests are varied and ever changing, but for now include knitting, cooking, technology, archery, photography, and many many more…
Why should you read my blog? I started this blog to share my experiences as I try to live a happy and healthy life. My hope is that I can connect with similar minded people out there that I might not otherwise have had a chance to meet. If you are interested in learning about my self inflicted experiments as I try to figure out if there is a way I can be “healthy” again and stop taking medications, then you might find some of my posts interesting. I will also be posting about things that make me “happy”, so maybe you will find those interesting if the other stuff is not.
Happiness and Health go hand in hand. This is my journey as I work towards my goal of achieving both by changing the things that I have control over, and accepting the things I can’t change.
